This is due to the fact that, as mentioned before, Digital Immigrants lack the ability to navigate today's technology. Therefore, with the trouble that most Digital Immigrant teachers have understanding and learning how to use technology, students often aren't given the opportunity to use the technology in the classroom, even though it's very familiar and fun for them to use.
